Leah Aiger
Leah Aiger
Messianic & Israeli Dance Leader
Leah and her husband Erez first met in the summer of 1997 through a family connection and were married in November 1998. Nearly 27 years later, they continue to marvel at God’s remarkable orchestration and providence in their lives. Their journey in formal ministry began in 1999, when Erez became the assistant rabbi at Kehilat Ari Yehuda, a Messianic Jewish synagogue affiliated with the MJAA in Portland, Oregon. In 2005, they established Congregation Sh’ma Yisra’el in the Portland area and faithfully led the vibrant community for 13 years. Since 2018, Leah and Erez have been hosting an in-home fellowship centered on worship, prayer, and study. They share a love for hiking, reading, and relaxing on the coast with their two dogs, Tater and Tilly.
Leah brings extensive experience as a children’s ministry leader. For many years, she owned and operated a thriving preschool and also runs a successful Crème Puff baking business on the side.
Leah and Erez are proud parents of two wonderful children. Their son, Yosef (Yossi), is 22 and currently attending the University of Hawaii. Their daughter, Yonit, is 25 and will soon be marrying a career soldier in the U.S. Army.
